The Ministry for Pacific Peoples offers Toloa Tertiary Scholarships for Pacific students to pursue studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) subjects.

These scholarships provide financial assistance to Pacific students who are enrolled at tertiary education institutions in New Zealand.

The Tulī Takes Flight (Tulī) Scholarship
Up to 15 Tulī scholarships will be available each year for new applicants. They are for Aotearoa Pacific families and communities. There are scholarships for both degree level study and vocational training like apprenticeships.

Teacher training scholarship
Each year, Education Workforce, part of the Ministry of Education, offers scholarships to encourage people to train as teachers in the areas where there is greatest need.
Three of these scholarships are for school leavers to train as teachers.

Applying for a scholarship
Most scholarships will have an application deadlines and documents you need to submit. You may need to supply personal documents such as:
- certified evidence of residency status
- evidence of a bank account in your name
- details of a referee
- a video of yourself.
