Wellbeing support for the education sector

Additional wellbeing support continues until June 2024.

As part of the government’s response to COVID-19, temporary wellbeing supports were centrally funded to support the education sector.

The remaining service is an interactive online programme (Gold Star) and is available to all staff in state and state-integrated schools, kura, early learning centres (including Kōhanga Reo), kindergartens, playcentres and home-based services.

The Gold Star online programme can be accessed at any time once you have registered with the programme. Gold Star provides a range of resilience building resources to support wellbeing. The programme includes e-learning modules, webinars with topic specialists, and self-tests to check and monitor your own wellbeing.

This is a temporary resource, with the programme remaining open until June 2024.
