What information can be shared

Under the agreement, information can be shared when:

  • an early learning teacher has been convicted of an offence punishable by imprisonment for 3 months or more
  • the council is aware there has been, or is potential for, a risk to a child's wellbeing or safety while at an early learning service and needs to notify us.

We will ask the service and teacher to share information about themselves to the council by a certain date. If they do not do this, we will share the required information with the council.
