Guidance for schools, with students in Years 1-8 that use The New Zealand Curriculum, on how to:

  • analyse different types of student achievement information so you can set targets using National Standards to improve student progress and achievement;
  • develop your analysis of variance
  • report your National Standards student progress and achievement information (National Administration Guideline 2A(b) and (c) reporting).

For schools and kura using Ngā Whanaketanga Rumaki Māori

Guidance for kura with ākonga in Years 1-8 that use Te Marautanga o Aotearoa on how to:

  • develop or update the strategic and annual planning sections of your charter
  • analyse different types of student achievement information so you can set targets in relation to Ngā Whanaketanga Rumaki Māori to improve ākonga  progress and achievement;
  • develop your analysis of variance
  • report your Ngā Whanaketanga Rumaki Māori ākonga progress and achievement information (National Administration Guideline 2A(b) and (c) reporting).
