Leasing to another school
Your school can choose to lease space to another school to accommodate itinerant teachers who are attached to another school, for example:
- Learning support coordinators.
- Resource Teachers Learning and Behaviour (RTLB).
- Resource Teachers Literacy (RTLit).
You can also lease to services such as satellite units, sensory schools or health schools.
Your school will become the host/accommodating board for the arrangement. There are different types of agreements depending which kind of school service you plan to accommodate.
Complete the Property Occupancy Document (POD) variation application form that applies:
- For RTLB and RTLit, use the RTLB form.
- For satellite units, sensory resource centres or health schools, use the satellites and sensory resource centres form.
For learning support coordinators, download the standard POD variation and update it to include the name of the school and payment information. The employing school must sign the POD variation, and then you need to return it to us. The variation is not complete until the Secretary consents the variation.
