What the grant is for

The careers information grant helps schools provide career advice for students in Years 9 to 13+.

Who gets the careers information grant

All state and state-integrated schools and kura with students in years 9 to 13+ receive the careers information grant.

How we work out the careers information grant amount

The funding rate is per student. The total your school will receive is the per-student rate multiplied by the total number of students enrolled in your school on each roll return date.

We use the Equity Index to set the funding rates for state and state-integrated schools.

How the grant is paid

Payments are made through the usual operational grant payment processes.
