The formula for this allowance is:

• 200 minus the total number Years 11 to 15
• divide that number by 275.

This gives the staffing allowance (as full-time teacher equivalent).

For specified rural area schools, the formula is:

• 200 minus the total number Years 11 to 15
• divide that number by 275
• add 0.5 FTTE.
