Using funds reimbursed from ACC
Boards can choose how they use reimbursements. Usually, they use them to fund cover for the injured employee.
The funding is normally enough to meet the cost of a relief teacher. If it's not, the board must pay the difference themselves.
We do not provide top-ups for ACC payments.
ACC levies
Your school has to pay an ACC levy each year.
