ECE Funding Handbook – changes for home-based services

As outlined in previous Early Learning Bulletins, changes have been made to the requirements for licensed home-based ECE services.

Amendments have made done to the ECE Funding Handbook to reflect these.

On 1 January 2025, Chapters 2-6, 3-B-4, 11-1 and Appendix 1 of the handbook will be updated with the new terms and conditions for home-based services.

The previous terms and conditions outlined in Chapter 3-B-4 will be archived and available for reference on the ECE Funding Handbook updates webpage.

By now you should have received the email containing the Targeted Funding for Disadvantage reporting link. If your service belongs to a large service provider, an Excel form will have been sent to the funding contact of the service provider.

The 5 December Early Learning Bulletin provided an incorrect email address for queries related to Targeted Funding for Disadvantage reporting.

If you have any queries related to Targeted Funding for Disadvantage reporting the correct email address is [email protected].

If you are the funding contact for your service and have not received the email, also let us know at that address.
