Advice on Tertiary Budget 2012 proposals

The Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment has released Budget-related advice received from officials prior to Budget 2012.

These documents are being released in response to requests under the Official Information Act 1982, and because of public interest in the issues addressed by the Ministry of Education in its advice to the Government.

This release of advice to the Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment complements the earlier release of tertiary education advice (external link) to the Minister of Finance and Cabinet, which includes final Cabinet papers and decisions in the release of advice to the Minister of Finance.

All documents in the release of advice to the Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment are available on request from: tertiary.strategy@minedu.govt.nz. There are 61 documents in total for both tertiary education and student support. A full list of the documents is available at the base of this page. In addition, three key documents are attached to this page (documents 1, 3 and 4 in the Tertiary Education section).

These documents are budget sensitive and therefore have been made available in PDF format only. If you are unable to read them, please email tertiary.strategy@minedu.govt.nz.
