Human resources support

An HR support person can help with appointments to the Community of Learning| Kāhui Ako-specific roles and develop processes and systems such as induction and performance appraisals.

The HR support role can offer advice and practical support in:

  • creating position descriptions for the across schools and within school teacher roles and the Community of Learning leader role
  • assisting with recruitment for these roles
  • developing agreements for sharing staff
  • making induction and succession plans
  • dealing with conflict.

This role could support the formation and early stages of a Community of Learning. Funding for the HR support role is available to support specific HR tasks related to a Community of Learning.
